Meet Dorothy
Dorothy is an older llama with a very gentle disposition. For many years she was well taken care of and provided a successful farmer with her beautiful fiber (hair) to shear and sell, but as llamas age the quality and quantity of their fiber significantly decreases. When farm animals can no longer “earn their keep”, they are usually sold for slaughter, but the farmer was quite fond of old Dorothy so he drove her to Noah’s Ark to live out the rest of her days in llama paradise.
