Meet Baby
Baby the brown lemur was surrendered to Noah’s Ark at 6 years of age in 2006 after her owner passed away. She was being kept legally, but her owner’s will stated that upon his death she would go into the care of his children, and they wanted nothing to do with the smelly, untouchable prosimian. Today, Baby lives with other lemurs and is actually the dominant female in the group. She is slow to trust humans but will climb down and investigate her keepers as they clean her enclosure, and will take food from their hands.
