Meet Barney
Barney is the largest Sulcata tortoise at Noah’s Ark, and was brought to us along with the BLT after being discovered in a drug dealer’s Atlanta basement in 2001. We guess him to be roughly 30 years old and his last weight was 167 pounds! He is a very personable tortoise and loves being showered and having his shell scrubbed during the warm months. He lives with 16 other Sulcata tortoises, all who were abandoned or unwanted by their former owners for various reasons.
