Meet Oscar
Oscar the silver fox was surrendered to Noah’s Ark as a month old kit in Spring 2014. He came from an out-of-state breeder who knew the kit would be unsellable because he only had one eye, and wanted the little fox to have a loving, forever home. Oscar was raised with one of the sanctuary’s working dogs, Dublin the German shepherd. Although Dublin is a dog, she was still able to provide baby Oscar with the affection, comfort, and socialization he needed as a young, wild canine. Today Oscar lives with the other foxes now that he’s an adult, but he’s still visited by his friend Dublin at least once a week.
