Noah’s Ark is a non-profit organization that provides care and treatment for animals, including exotics, wildlife and domestic live stock animals. Noah’s Ark provides habitats that have the animals’ best interests in mind and that mimic their natural environments. Noah’s Ark promotes humane, responsible, and informed animal treatment and ownership.
Noah’s Ark is approximately 30 minutes from the Atlanta Airport and 30 minutes south of Downtown Atlanta, located at 712 L G Griffin Road, Locust Grove, Georgia.

Noah’s Ark is one of the preferred destinations for confiscated and rescued animals through our partnerships with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Department of the Interior (USDI), Georgia Department of Agriculture, and the United States Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Noah’s Ark is a non-profit organization that relies solely on the generous financial and volunteer support of the community through donations.
Noah’s Ark is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization with a unique Tax ID:58-1909303. Yes, donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Currently, Noah’s Ark does not actively take cats or dogs for placement.
A “No Kill” center saves both healthy and treatable pets. Euthanasia is used only for untreatable animals.
When we cannot accept an animal, Noah’s Ark works with a network placement system. Visit www.ahnow.org for wildlife and www.spotsociety.org for cats and dogs.
More than 100,000 people visit Noah’s Ark and participate in educational program each year.
We have restrooms located inside the Welcome Center and portable restroom facilities available in numerous locations on site including the playground area and Animal Habitat Area. We have vending machines located inside our Welcome Center building with bottled water, sodas, juice for sale and snacks.

Noah’s Ark is Open to the Public Tuesday – Saturday 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m
Habitat Admission – $5 per person, 2 years and younger are free
We accept cash or credit card, and donations are greatly appreciated.
Pets are not allowed, only service animals.
Safety and Sanctuary Care
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Climbing any exhibits, fences or any structures (other than inside the playground with parent supervision) is prohibited.
- Stay on designated pathways at all times.
- Do not attempt to feed or touch any animals to include wildlife.
- Dispose of waste inside trash cans
- Keep all personal belonging with you at all times. The Sanctuary is not responsible for any misisng personal items.
Prohibited items
- Smoking, e-cigarettes, vaping, cigars, chewing tobacco, and any illegal substances.
- Firearms and weaponds of any kind, including items that look like weapons.
- Balloons and Confetti.
- Any sports equipment (Footballs, Baseballs, Soccer Balls, Basketballs, Frisbees etc..).
- Bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, drones, or remote controlled vehicles.
- Portable music players without headphones and instruments
Dress Code
- Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
Behavior

The Sanctuary does not tolerate inappropriate behavior, including, but not limited to, yelling, violence, intimidation, threats, harrassment, aggression, swearing, damage, and abuse. Guest will be asked to leave the property.
