Meet Mama
Mama the kinkajou (Potos flavus) was born in 2010 and surrendered to Noah’s Ark in 2012 from an individual who no longer wanted Mama because she was unable to tame her. When Mama first came to Noah’s Ark she arrived in a filthy cage barely big enough for a rabbit. Although Mama is very sedate during the day, the following morning her habitat is an absolute disaster, which is how keepers know she had a blast the night before playing with all of her toys and foraging devices! In capativity her diet consists of fruits, primate chow, and dry dog food, and her favorite treat is honey.
