Meet Darlene
Darlene came to Noah’s Ark in 2006 from a small family who knew she would one day outgrow their ability to care for her. The odd part of Darlene’s story is that the family won her as a prize at their local fair! They kept the tiny piglet for a few months but knew there was no way this pig could live in their apartment forever. Darlene has dug the perfect pig-sized mud hole in the pasture, and guards it from the other pigs because as soon as it rains, she has her own little pool.
